Wharton Digital Press is proud to announce that Charlene Li’s The Engaged Leader: A Strategy for Your Digital Transformation has earned an Independent Publisher Book Award, receiving a silver medal in business.

Published one year ago, The Engaged Leader has been covered on Forbes, Fast Company, USA Today, and in other leading publications and called “a must-read” by Beth Comstock, Chief Marketing Officer of GE. According to Daniel H. Pink, “Anyone who is ready to take his or her leadership to the next level should read The Engaged Leader and follow Li’s specific, actionable program for using social media to extend one’s influence and knowledge.”

The Engaged Leader joins one other 2016 Wharton Digital Press Independent Publisher Book Award winner:

  • Gold Winner in Adult Non-Fiction Informational Ebook: The Road to Cuba, by Knowledge@Wharton

According to the Independent Publisher Book Awards, “The ‘IPPY’ Awards, launched in 1996, are designed to bring increased recognition to the deserving but often unsung titles published by independent authors and publishers. Established as the first awards program open exclusively to independents, over 3,000 ‘IPPYs’ have been awarded to authors and publishers around the world.”

Award winners will be honored at the 20th Annual IPPY Awards in Chicago during BookExpo America. For details on this year’s event, visit the Independent Publisher Book Awards site.
